Department Introduction

The Department of Health Policy and Management at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences is dedicated to training specialized and committed professionals in the field of health management. The department engages in impactful applied research, offers expert consulting services, and cultivates sustainable collaborations with healthcare providers, educational institutions, and research organizations. Currently, we offer Master's programs in Health care Management and Health Economics.

Admissions for the Master's program in Health care Management commenced in 2011 at the International Branch of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, with regular program admissions starting in October 2012. Since January 2019, the department has functioned as an independent and officially recognized entity. In 2022, the university expanded its offerings to include a Master's program in Health Economics.
